The Lotus Villa Sigiriya

We loved the delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts including string hoppers. The host was extremely helpful and kind. The location is very peaceful with beautiful views and a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room had a good aircon.

El encargado fue muy amable con nosotros en todo momento, ofreciendonos servicio de tuktuk para excursiones a buen precio, recomendaciones y consejos de cosas que hacer y hasta explicaciones de los lugares que nos iba enseñando. El desayuno es local pero muy bueno. Ubicación medio centrica, disfrutas de estar bastante cerca de todo aunque lo suficientemente alejado para disfrutar de la tranquilidad.

Al estar en obras de ampliación, si quieres descansar durante el dia es un poco complicado. Durante la tarde/noche ningún ruido.

Ens van tractar super bé des del primer moment. L’amfitrió ens va facilitar totes les activitats que vam voler fer, totes amb un resultat increïble. Ens vam sentir molt cuidats i acompanyats. L’habitació està en molt bones condicions i l’esmorzar era boníssim i complert. Ho recomanem 100%. Vam estar-hi tres nits i com a casa!

Amazing host! Knowledgeable, kind and wanted us to get the most out of our stay in Sigiriya. Offered transport and help without pressure and provided an amazing varied Sri Lankan breakfast each morning. Room was spacious, clean with amenities and an exceptional view. Can’t fault our stay!

Nothing it was perfect.

Best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and each morning the owner would’ve prepared breakfast which he bought from local people and restaurants in the area. We had e.g. hoppers, omelets, pancakes with brown sugar, coconut rotti, fruits, etc. The owner also helped with a tuktuk to Dambulla, and he had a little shed to park our scooters overnight. Everything was perfect :)

La pieza, grande limpia y cómoda. Con una hermosa vista a un campo de arroz. El personal muy atento y gentil. La ubicación, bastante cerca del centro y lo suficientemente lejos para estar más en la naturaleza. Para nosotros estuvo cómodo ya que teníamos tuktuk, quizás es un poco lejos si quieres llegar caminando al centro (principalmente por el calor más que por la distancia)

Efectivamente aún sigue en construcción el segundo piso. No tuvimos mayores inconvenientes al respecto (ya que salimos la mayor parte del día y fueron muy respetuosos) El desayuno local podría tener más opciones saludables y menos frituras, aún así, muy agradecida de que lo adaptaron a nuestra dieta vegana-vegetariana.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Breakfast was amazing! It included a typical Sri Lankan breakfast that changed daily with fruits, coffee and tea. It was a very generous amount too, we were always nicely full afterwards. Great location, close to everything like small convenient stores, restaurants and attractions. The biggest stand out for us was the kind people who run and own the Villa. They were so accomodating and happy to help in any way possible. Always smiling and checking in to see if everything is okay. We wish them the very best with the new villas they are building and their business. Thank you! :)
