CARI Surf Villas

The pool/ outdoor area was great. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Was very handy having a carina massage at the entry of the property.

The smell in the bathroom was a-bit off putting and the construction next door which isn’t the properties fault was very loud. We were also unaware the yoga classes were an additional cost and were only informed once we checked out.

Proximity to food/shopping.

Misleading information "occasional construction activities taking place in the surrounding area" was on the wall of our villa the backed into the bedhead. Initially advertised as 9am-5pm this would start from 7am and go until 6pm and beyond. The workers also had direct view into the villa and pool area which really took away the private or relaxing part of why we booked a villa.

Great layout of villa with lovely big bedrooms and comfortable beds. The outside area is great too. Did surfing lessons with Cari surf camp and they offer free transport to and from the camp. Very friendly and helpful people.

The Cari team were very responsive to any questions or issues we had and did their best to mitigate and resolve. The property is very nice, great shower pressure and I liked the semi outdoor bathrooms. The location is great - but you do need a scooter around Uluwatu in any case. It isn't possible to walk to places. Nice pool, great sized rooms, pretty garden settings. Water filter provided. My daughters did surf lessons with Cari surf camp which they enjoyed. We were also able to stay at the surf camp after check out until we needed to go to the airport which was greatly appreciated. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Kitchen could be better equipped - more glasses. Maybe some touch ups around the property - a bit of painting and repairing here and there.

The villa is very well located, close to restaurants, bars, the beach… but also in a secondary road so you don’t get much noises from outside (apart from the ongoing constructions in the area, but that’s understandable). The room is very spacious, the shower and toilet are outside, as well as the chillout area and kitchen

If you have a local simcard you will get really bad signal, and even their wifi connection comes and goes. I was staying in Villa 4, maybe it works better on the others… but if you try to work online at the villa, forget it. The outside sofa (chaise lounge) is very old. You sit on it and you sink, hurting yourself with the structure inside, as well as the textile is super rough - i think it should get changed for a more comfortable one, given the price of the villa. Also because you may want to relax there, watch a movie or something… it is the most uncomfortable place to sit. One thing that they should consider is their cleaning and maintenance staff. I was staying with my boyfriend just 2 nights at the villa, we wanted to relax and enjoy each other for a while and the staff keep knocking at the door trying to get in, for different reasons. Man… if we are renting a private villa, give some privacy. They came at least 4 times during the day… woke us up from napping, interrupting… not nice. Need to reconsider this.

Amazing location, felt super private despite being in the middle of everything, amazing bathrooms and comfy beds, pool was great! Loved our stay! Staff were great and super helpful! Will definitely one back

Only thing is it’s a bit slippery with tiles everywhere so be careful if you’re in and out of the pool all the time like we were!
