This property is a good size for a group

Unfortunately, the owner forgot we were staying and so turned up late. After a 10 minute check, we were allowed in but found lots of things broken/ stained and mess on the carpets. I highlighted this to the owner who said he was aware, yet this wasn’t mentioned in the booking description or pictures. Be careful when it comes to the deposit (another thing not mentioned when booking). We were denied our whole £200 deposit back due to some alleged damage to a blind we did not cause. Had good hopes for this property but it really ruined a nice weekend away.

The host allowed for an early check in at 13:00 due to not having guests in before us. Deposit paid and received this back within 48hours. Pool table a nice touch for us guys when got back in from leeds.

Cleanliness wasnt great. Toilet hadn't been cleaned downstairs, bathroom hadnt been fully cleaned and carpets looked like hadnt been hoovered in a while. It definately hadnt had a full clean before our stay. It was 3 guys who stayed in the end but booked for 5. This was a base for whilst we went into leeds which was fine but had it been family/wifes with us I dont think they would of been happy at all. The house was lovely but i feel its had some stays which have caused damage to walls/ lights etc. Cable left hanging from ceiling in living room. which is a shame because it feels like its not been respected from previous stays.

Beautiful Exterior, I was really showing off to my friends pretending we are on MTV cribs! Its massive inside, you can play hide and seek in here and have a good laugh 😆 I especially loved the separation between the cozy living room and the open plan kitchen, upstairs is great too. Despite there being a few of us we always had privacy and that was great. It has all the amenities you can think of and some that are not even listed, like a Qooker tap! This is a 5* accommodation and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Lovely house in good location for our stay. Check in was really easy, host turned up few minutes after I called and let us check in early. Host was friendly and approachable and happy to help. Good facilities for cooking, TV and apps for music. Spacious house and nice bathrooms.

Just bare in mind that there is a security deposit of £300 which I only found out about on day of arrival. Thankfully, the host dealt with this positively on arrival. I can understand the need for a security deposit, but should be done at time of booking and not as a surprise on day of arrival. The house could definitely do with more attention to detail but it was a pleasant stay - bar the lack of smoke detectors which in all honesty was a bit alarming.

Nothing, amazing property

I was required to transfer GBP 300 as a deposit to a personal account. It is quite unreasonable. The host canccelled my booking one day before I check in because of leak. Without any message and communication, no response for my question. Very Poor.
