HearthspaceHampi, a low-impact backpackers hostel

This hostel is really cute and has a laid-back, natural vibe. They've got all the basics you need, like a water purifier, beds in the common area, and a decent bathroom. Sam, the host, is super friendly and makes sure you connect with nature and meet other travelers. The location is also great, you'll get good hotels, cafes, bike rental and adventure activities nearby.

Sam is such a great person, i immediately felt at home when i arrived. She also gave me amazing advice on things to do in hampi, the best places to eat, and how to get the beat prices in town without gwtting scammed

HeartspaceHampi is an amazing hostel in the quiet village of Hanumanhalli, surrounded by a huge boulder area and amazing landscapes. It is a few minutes walking away from the Hanuman Temple or the river seperating north and south Hampi. There are plenty of ruïnes on that side of the river, but if you want to see the main ruïnes you can simply rent bikes or bicycles (last ones available for very democratic prices at hostel) an cross by boat. The host Sam is an incredible woman who will drown you in tips and tricks about how to visit the region and will do anything in her power to assist you in a joyful stay at her place. For me, it was very refreshing to stay in a hostel that tries to limit their ecological footprint as much as possible, especially in a country as India where not a lot of people seem to care. The hotel itself is very small, but amazingly cosy. In the chill area, everyone would feel right at peace. I would definitely ho here again.
