Maristow Cottages, overlook Tamar Valley Dartmoor

The cottage was beautiful and immaculate. The hosts were incredibly helpful too.

We booked and arrived the same day! Everything was perfect, the cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the location and grounds were simply stunning. Our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived and then unobtrusive during our stay, striking a perfect balance. This is a beautiful and historic place, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The cottage is really cute but the garden (the park!) is just amazing!

Very peaceful location. Well equipped and cared for property. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Quite a lot of the local roads were narrow country lanes which took some getting used to. Weather wasn't wonderful. BUT neither could be helped and didn't spoil our stay.

Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Cottage and grounds are peaceful and well equipped.

The facilities were spotless. Everything including milk, tea, coffee was provided. Dominic met us and showed us around including meeting the two dogs. He and Vicki checked intermittently that we had everything we needed and invited us to view their gardens. Nothing appeared to be too much bother. Lovely hosts.

How to get there was a problem even with sat nav involved.. Better instructions as to how to find the place would be beneficial. Maybe a message from the hosts.

Beautiful location, great hosts, cottage well equipped and to a very high standard. Had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive and also had two lovely dogs who greeted us on arrival !
