Loved the area, and was relieved to see we had access to garden for the pooches.

Information from booking.com was not accurate with the hosts Information. But luckily it turned out ok in the end.

It was all a very pleasant stay

Phill and Mi were very accommodating and welcoming hosts, the breakfast condiments were nice and well laid out, location is great for cyclists and all surrounding areas of the midlands for sight seeing etc. the accommodation is a little dated but has a friendly and homely feel with it.

Host was lovely and really helpful, although I didn't appreciate 1am check-in messages.

I booked this stay based on glowing reviews and appealing photos of a nearby country park, which gave the impression it was located within the park itself. It is actually a room at the back of a private house some distance away. The kitchen wasn't fully equipped as advertised, there was no hob and the fridge and microwave were tucked behind a curtain in a storage area outside the main room. I'd brought food to cook but ended up making do with crisps and snacks the first night and takeaway the second. I had my five year old granddaughter with me and it was difficult to get her to sleep early as it stayed light well after 9 pm due to a skylight. It also meant she was up again by 5am, leaving her tired throughout the day. I had initially booked a much cheaper hotel which looked beautiful and included a cooked breakfast but changed because I thought self catering in a lovely country park suited my needs much better. I have put on a pic of my actual view. Overall, the set up felt misleading and sadly didn't suit our needs.

Lovely room had everything you need from coffee,cereal ,cups ,glasses and a fridge to store cold drinks and food. Made to feel really welcome had two dogs and the garden was huge for them to run around in . Weather was boiling on the day so I was really worried the room would be hot but it was lovely didn't even need the fan .

Unfortunately we had to return home so didn't stay the night., However the room and furniture were tired, the room felt dark, the hallway was curtained either side which made it feel dark and narrow, the sink wasn't in the bathroom. We would have preferred white sheets and pillowcases. A fresh light coloured table cloth would be better than the plastic one. For me it wasn't private enough as to get to the studio you had to pass the owners part of the house.

Noting to complain or moan .

Very nice self contained, dog friendly property in a lovely location . We had everything we needed including snacks, milk and bathroom products kindly provided by Phil and Mi. We were able to park our vehicle on their driveway which was much appreciated, thank you
