Staff at porters lodge very friendly.

There was no record of my daughter’s booking at check-in. This was very unsettling. I messaged re an invitation to upgrade but heard nothing back. I booked a room with private bathroom for my daughter which showed on the site as ensuite. Then received an invitation to upgrade which implied her original room did not have ensuite - tho I am not sure what a private bathroom is otherwise?? So I panicked and upgraded for an additional £92/night. I asked the college what the difference was between a private bathroom and what I had now paid for, but have had no response.
