Pondok Tetebatu Cottages and Cafe

There was a nice view and the staff was really nice!

Really good staying there. Very friendly stuff there. Accommendation was very clean. Hot shower. Excellent WiFi inside the room and on the veranda before the room. Restaurant is integrated where you can eat/drink to a fair price. Included breakfast is OK. Laundry is available. We booked a rice field tour directly in the hotel with the hotel owner ('adam') which was excellent. He came from this region and he knows all people on the rice field. He did explain many things about rice planting. I can recommend a guided tour with him!

All was fine.

They upgraded my room to a ‘Superior room’. It was basic but I appreciated it. The staff don’t speak much English but they try and are very friendly! It was nice to have a hot shower after the last few places only had cold water.

Everything was okay

Pay a little extra and take the upper floor room, they are renovated with A/C and most importantly, those rooms have an amazing, breathtaking view of Rinjani volcano. People of Tetebatu, including staff of Pondok, are the most welcoming people I have met on my travels so far. Everybody will greet you, smile at you, ask you about your home country or how you like their village. One of the staff told me it is normal to act in such kindness there and was asking me it is the same in your country Is everybody greeting everybody and smiling at each other? Saddly, I answered No, realizing how we distanced socially and how tragic it is .

In a beautiful setting, pool was lovely and refreshing. Rooms were fine for the price. Staff went above and beyond, my girlfriend left her sleeping mask that was a gift from her mum. went back the next day after checking out to see if they still had it and they'd even washed it for her and got it for us straight away

It has a really good atmosphere! Surrounded by beautiful nature. On and off the property. The room itself was basic and clean. Simple breakfast and quite good dinner! The staff is very very kind and helpful! They offer tours and taxi's as well.

Only the water pressure in my room was a bit extreme (room 8) but that was not a big problem.

Great property with an awesome location overlooking Mt Rinjani. Very Friendly and Helpful staff. Good food at their restaurant also.

Very good experience, so comfortable and very nice views

Really nice people helped us get to the next location, have us a room upgrade for free, we hired a moped from here and had free breakfast every morning

A couple cockroaches in our room and lots of ants but didn’t effect our stay.
