Karen and jhon are so kind. Best hosts ever. Breakfast was delicious and warm with fresh coffee.

Karen and Jon have been tremendous hosts, they’ve opened their home and taken care of me. They have both treated me like family and made me feel at home as I needed to stay here while my dorm room was being redone. Karen always checks in on me and made sure I was okay, I was comfortable. And Jon was welcoming and jovial all the time. Both have made my stay so wonderful. You get a beautiful room, in a safe nice neighborhood, basically a private bath and shower, breakfast and meals were wonderful.

If I could give more than 10 stars I would! This has been one of the - if not the - most exceptional place I have ever stayed at. Everything was spotless clean, the bed was really comfortable, there were several bus stops nearby, the area was calm and nice and most importantly the hosts were the most lovely people I have ever met while travelling! I felt less like a guest and more like a family member. They were so caring and so keen on always giving me the best experience possible. I highly recommend you choose this place for your stay in Edinburgh, you will most certainly not regret it!

It is a great place to stay for a solo traveller in Edinburgh, a wonderful cosy room, with perfect facilities and the best hosts you can imagine! Really friendly, hospitable and caring people, Karen and John! Highly recommend this place, you will be really happy to stay in this quiet neighborhood, just 20 minutes by bus from the heart of the city. Will come back if again in Edinburgh.

Karen and her husband made me very welcome. The room was charming and very clean. I really enjoyed our breakfast. It was simple but delicious.

I can’t honestly say I would’ve changed anything. Karen had made a very comfortable home for her and her family and I would recommend people staying here.
