Nice place to meet people

A very nice and welcoming hostel. As soon as I arrived, the family welcomed me warmly and showed me around the hostel — they were really kind. The facilities are spacious and comfortable, and there is a great atmosphere because they encourage guests to socialize, which creates a very friendly vibe. The breakfast was different every day and always super tasty.

The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the center, so it’s better if you have a bike or motorbike. Also, the train passes very close by and can be a bit noisy.

Asanka and his family have created a lovely home for everyone to share. He hosts amazing dinners and also has some ashwaganda for a reasonably good price.

The host, the vibe and the other people - it was like family! And Asanka did everything for his guests, such an amazing host!

The location was good, close to some restaurants and the beach. The Man running it was friendly.

The room was right beside the train tracks, it felt as if the train was going to come through the room. We had ants all over our floor. We had our owner toilet but not sink to wash our hands. We weren't really told where the facilities were. We had to go through a dorm room to use their shower or there was an outdoor shower that people from their balcony next door could look into.

Location, freedom, hospitality, Felt like home. Joyful place.

Train 🚆 noise

Super chilled and very friendly hostel. Breakfast great and some evening meals as well. Space to relax and a short walk to the main road for the bus stop and a nice beachside cafe if needed. Hostel is just outside the main town. Many people had hired a scooter, lots were there for the surfing.

The railway line is very close, you soon get used to it but was very loud early in the morning.
