Jose was an excellent host and met me upon arrival. Perfect location with a mall and a grocery store down below. Lots of restaurants nearby. I travelled alone but this is an excellent option for a large family. Cannot recommend this place anymore. If available, jump on it as this is great stay!

Everything was perfect!

One of the best properties I have ever rented! Large & very comfortable apartment in an upmarket neighbourhood of Funchal (about 30min walk or 5€ Uber fron the city center); traditional look yet modern, very clean, perfect working order. Three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin), two bathrooms (one with shower, the other with tub, two wash basins and a bidet), ample storage space, kitchen with dining table, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, large living room with a dining corner, two terraces (one towards the inner court yard, one overlooking the street), large entry lobby, safety box, good wifi, underground garage, 4th floor with a lift; plenty of eateries around, shopping mall 3min walk away, 10min walk to the beach. The parking garage is very tight (at least by NZ standards - seems normal here). Rent the smallest car you can get away with!

Le logement était conforme à la description, spacieux, propre et très bien équipé, desservi par un ascenseur, dans une résidence calme ; la place de parking en sous-sol est très pratique ; le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible en cas de besoin. Enfin le supermarché se trouve à 2mn à pied et le centre ville à 45 mn à pied (5 à 8 minutes environ en voiture).

Seul le four ne fonctionnait pas mais un micro-onde est présent.

Apartamento muy amplio y limpio. Supermercado no muy lejos. Se puede ir caminando al centro en 45 min o en bus en 20 minutos. Mucha oferta de restauración en los alrededores. El contacto con el anfitrión muy bien.

Lo único que echamos en falta es que hubiera detergente para la lavadora. Por todo lo demás nada negativo que decir.

Cet appartement est vraiment magnifique, il est très confortable( lits et literies-serviettes blanches impeccables-propreté-équipements pour cuisiner- emplacement), Insonorisé et essentiel pour un repos. C’est immense, propreté, 2 balcons, chambres à l’arrière silencieuse et calme. Lits confortables. Vous trouverez un arrêt de bus juste au coin. 4 km à pied vous arrivez au centre de Funchal facilement. Plusieurs possibilités restaurations/alimentaires, grand centre commercial à côté pour épiceries. Nous avons séjourné 7 jours en couple c’était génial.

Aucun produits pour débuter(cafe-sel-poivre- savon lave-linge …) bon à prévoir pour faciliter un départ agréable . Odeurs de fritures provenant de l’extérieur, odeurs de cuisson des résidents, bruyant sur la terrasse avant mais rien si on est dans l’appartement qui est bien insonorisé.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean and there was a well-equipped kitchen and lots of storage space. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was situated next to a shopping mall, lots of restaurants nearby, but still the neighbourhood was peaceful. Jose, the landlord, was very helpful with any questions we had.

Blisko do promenady, mnóstwo knajpek i barów w okolicy, tuż obok galeria handlowa gdzie można zrobić zakupy. Jeśli nie chcesz jechać samochodem do Funchal, masz blisko do przystanku autobusowego. Sam apartament ma wszystko co potrzebne do wygodnego odpoczynku, dużym atutem jest garaż podziemny, gdzie bez problemu można zostawić samochód.

Geweldig appartement! Groot, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. 3 ruime slaapkamers aan de rustige achterkant, goede bedden, 2 grote badkamers. Een enorme luxe woonkamer en een grote eetkeuken, mooi ruim voorterras met zicht op zee en de gezellige drukte. Ook een heerlijk rustig terras achter. En een prachtige plek in de garage. Kortom, mooier kun je het niet krijgen. Uitstekend contact met eigenaar José.
