The linens were a little musty, but everything else was spotless

What an awesome place in a fabulous location. A truly unique place and features, very friendly host, Nature and farm animals of all sorts add to the fantastic views. All mod-cons, quick WiFi, very clean and completely decked out. Many thanks for a great stay that was way too short.

The location was lovely. Beautiful views. The black & white cat was also a lovely companion throughout the visit.

The dining table was sticky with food residue. The cutlery and coffee cups that we selected were dirty, and there was food residue on both. The master bed was comfortable. However, the bedding & pillows smelled musty and like smoke, assumed from the wood burner; however, the house didn't smell like that, and we didn't use the fire. It felt like we were in used bedding, simply because of the smell. There was a dog close by that was barking at times in the late evening. We live on a farm and have dogs, so we are not intolerant. It felt a bit disruptive for our night away, however we appreciate it is a farm. For the price, we thought the outside of the property was very untidy. We stayed the night before in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in Hanmer which was spotless, with a private garden, kitchen and living area for $209.

Everything. The serenity, the old world charm, great beds, great showers, but mainly the peace and serenity. Marie was must attentive to our needs and responded in a timely manner.
