Bournemouth Carlton Hotel By Sunday

We found the staff extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. We liked th fact that we could choose when to have housekeeping, as well as purchase breakfast if we wanted it. The room was very comfortable with a lovely sea view. The food from the restaurant was very good. We would definitely return.

We wished we had booked for longer, as the weather for our first couple of days wasn't very good.

Big spacious room. Great location.

Expensive parking. Lack of staff. Was told a travel cot would be in room on arrival but had to return to reception and ask for it. Family rooms located on a floor with no lift which made it awkward with a pushchair. Broken window in room (would not lock). Mould on ceiling.

Superior room was very disappointing. Very old. Although the balcony was very nice.

Loved the massive rooms & big bathroom! We liked how close the hotel was, with walking into the town! The pool looked lovely however, we didn’t use as heard it gets packed from public being able to use also?

How it doesn’t appear to be looked after in the sense of TLC and wear&tear… bathroom for example rustic blue/limescale all around taps & plugs, dark brown stains around plug sockets and drain in the bath, wallpaper peeling, plug socket with tv plugged in as extremely loose ( not wise with a 1 year old about)… floorboards as well defiantly need looking at loads of dips could possibly eventually be a hole! They also need to invest in air con

not clean. lift were not working. Overcrowded. Kitchen will literally open and close every 10 minutes because they were understaffed . The pools were super dirty the changing room were super dirty. Very unclean.  I had a baby and I requested a room to be at the Grand floor if the lifts were not working and they ignored my request and they put us in a floor up and the lift was not working so we had to carry the pram in many things upstairs.

Gave us small room even though we booked large room, the air con was broken and the shower did not work properly

Staff arent professional, room is dirty and old, anthing you ask for they ask you to pay 15 pounds, very unresponsive, Overall stay was very bad. We regret the choice.
