Everything about the place! Pete was an excellent host! Freshly baked scones, banana bread and a quality full English with overnight oats in the morning!

Pete was an exceptional host; we've left at least a stone heavier after 4 nights with the most outstanding breakfast ever!

Great host. Beautiful house. Outstanding breakfast and hospitality. Very welcoming and friendly. Lovely spacious room with TV and en-suite bathroom. Will definitely go again.

Would have been great to have tea/coffee in the room, although the host kindly offered refreshments whenever we came back to the hotel. The bathroom could do with a blind on the window.

Fantastic location for us and a truly exceptional property and Paul was a really great guy. Special mention to the 2 dogs Buddy and Wendy. We definitely hope to return.

Beautiful house very tastefully decorated, lots of lovely Xmas decorations. We were visiting Beamish for a few days, which was about six miles away, so in good position for this. Rooms are very large with comfortable beds. We booked the blue room which had on-suite bathroom, the red room has separate bathroom. Peter, the owner, was a pleasure to meet and a fantastic host, nothing too much bother and it felt just like being at home. Breakfast was delicious, all lovingly prepared by Peter. Highly recommend staying here and when we return to Beamish we will definitely stay here.
