Vigo House is an exceptionally presented property. The host Pete is so accommodating. A genuinely lovely guy.

This Hotel is an absolute gem of a find. The decor and feel of the property is simply so wonderful. It’s like a modern mansion house with an around the world feel to it. The bedroom / bathroom were spotless and well furnished. The owner Peter is simply a world class host who makes you feel more like a family friend than a staying guest. Peter’s personal and genuine interest in the enjoyment of our stay was as amazing as was the unique quality and wow factor of the property and accommodation itself. The breakfast was made to order by Peter in the most amazing modern kitchen diner and the quality of the food would have had no problems sitting on an a la carte menu. The online pictures do not lie, is is as good as it looks. We will most certainly be back.

No Curtains at the windows

Beautiful old house and a privilege to stay there. As with any old property creaky boards were a feature and added to the experience. Host was very pleasant and obliging….couldn't fault our stay at all.

This is not a complaint or a put down in any way but a blind at the shower window would make a difference in the blue room but as I’ve already said, it’s a small observation and not in any way to detract from a very pleasant stay.

Great place to stay. Peter and his wife are great hosts and provide a very personal service. Whatever you need just ask seems to be the order of the day. Breakfast is personally cooked and is very substantial. Rooms are as amazing as they look in the pictures. We took our dog and he was very well treated and got on with the resident dogs. Heartily recommended.
