Loved this hotel! It was charming and beautifully decorated. Staff was kind & helpful. Lovely front porch to sit & relax and enjoy a cocktail!

It was noiser than expected- between the outside dining next door & live music and there was a crying baby on our floor when the website stated that children under 13 were not permitted to stay overnight

The staff was very accomodating.

We understand it is a older building, but the size of the bathroom was tight quarters.

We love everything about The Virginia Hotel. This was our 4th or 5th time staying here. The hotel is beautiful, the staff bends over backwards to make you feel at home, the rooms are well furnished, and the location is perfect. If you really want to treat yourself to something special in Cape May, this is the place.

The location and majority of the staff were excellent. The bar tender was a delight and made the best chocolate martini I've had in a while!!!

I was without a TV for 1 1/2 days. As I sleep with the TV on for white noise, Obviously this was an issue for me. I booked this several months ago then added on an extra day on the front end. I contacted the Virginia to make sure not a problem. After my first night, they wanted me to change rooms??!! I was on my way out to a Whale Watch and wouldn't be back until 5pm. I went to the counter and explained the situation and told the girl there that I spoke directly to the B&B and wouldn't have to change rooms due to the added on day. I told her my shit was all over the place and she accused me of cursing at her??!!! I went on my boat ride and contacted via text before we pulled out into the ocean and problem was resolved (she was supposed to text me and let me know this asap) and I didn't have to change rooms.

Absolutely my favorite new place to visit. The service and staff were very attentive and kind. The breakfast quiche was beyond delicious. I would return just to eat that again. Absolutely loved the local lotion and hair products and body wash. Loved all the extras like providing makeup wipes and Q Tips, bottles of water and robes. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The decor was charming. So many beautiful details at the property such as stained glass windows and unique paintings.

The only thing I could think to change is to add a couple smaller less expensive meal options.

Friendly professional staff, great rooms, super breakfast, convenient parking, and great location. We will stay here again in the future. Highest recommendation!!
