The staff was great!

We stayed in room 209 which was above the kitchen. The fan was on and rather loud from early afternoon until near midnight.

"I would not suggest this place to anyone I know."

Location

Heating system, management. We stayed for my wife’s birthday 2 nights.The first night we slept with no heat and with an internal temperature of 62 degrees. All the management did was leave a space heater that had electrical issues and we couldn’t use. Management tried to move us to another room but that room was 85 degrees and the thermostat didn’t work. I complain to the general manager Josh and ask for a refund for the 1st night but he in return told me that since I booked with booking.com I had to ask booking.com to contact them. I followed Josh’s instructions and never heard back from the hotel, they never responded to booking.com either. Beware when staying here!!! management is not professional and they can care less if your experience was not satisfactory. FYI , I escalated also tot he regional Manager and not even he returned my email. Very disappointing to say the least.

"It does not get better than The Virginia!!"

I can't say enough good things about the Virginia! Perfect location half a block from the ocean. The hotel is just beautiful. Wonderful bedroom and bathroom suite. The absolute surprise was the 5-star restaurant. I'm still mentally savoring my fresh squeezed breakfast juices (the green one is the best!) and the fresh baked breakfast pastry treats. I felt like a princess in a magical place where everyone wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. Wow, I can't wait to come back here for a longer stay! What a treat!! Rated number 1 in US!

The king size bed is super comfortable. You never want to get out of bed

Nothing I didn’t like but I do recommend that the staff include wet toilet paper. It is a big plus

I loved this boutique hotel the minute I walked in the door. From the pleasant staff to our lovely room, everything is top notch. It was close to shopping, eating and sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent. We are so happy we chose the Virginia.
