Bangbang Guest House Ubud

The room is big compared to other places I’ve been. It’s also really clean and Tommy, the owner is particularly nice and helpful. It’s my second time is this place and I would not chose anything else.

I was greeted by Tommy who works at the hotel on arrival and he very kindly carried my heavy suitcase to my room on the top floor and he was also very helpful with insuring i had all i needed for a comfortable stay which i really appreciated as well as giving me directions to where i needed to go. The room i had was clean and spacious with AC and lots of natural light as many windows in the room which also had good views although no balcony (rooms with balconies are on the floor below) but i did have a clothes drying rack which was useful to dry my bath towels etc just outside my room in the in the communal walk way. I liked that there was a fridge and a kettle in my room and AC and a wardrobe also as well as a table and chairs etc. And the location although not very central was still just about a 15 minute walk to Jalan Hanuman and Jalan Monkey Forest etc which was very convenient for me to not need to rely on motorbike taxis. As the Guest house is a little off a busy road, it is fairly peaceful at night also. Another helpful member of staff also helped with my luggage on my departure which i also really appreciated. There was also wifi in the room.

The bathroom was quite small and i would have preferred a separate shower are as opposed to the wet room, and the hot water in each of the bathrooms is heated by a small hot water heater ( one for each room) which runs out of hot water after a few minutes ( so if washing your hair i recommend turning off the shower between rinsing to conserve the hot water and once i got used to that system it wasn't a problem.

Amazing staff, great value for money. Quiet yet great location. Will stay here again

Super friendly staff (kindest man!), free water, clean room with AC, good location, scooter rental went smooth, nothing to complain!

The location is really good because it’s close to many restaurants and centre but not busy and noisy. Tha bed was very comfortable and the AC works properly. Staff very friendly. Nice view of the sunset!

The shower was a bit uncomfortable, I think it was faulty. The bathroom it’s basic but still ok for the money you pay. If you have light sleep take dome earplugs because there are many roosters around

Perfect if not for the smell of the drains in the bathroom, which I found it hard to ignore. But the staff helped out and cleaned it which got rid of most of the smell
