Sunset Shores Beach Hotel

Location to beach.

The room smelled like smoke, the bathroom door was mis-aligned and in order to shut it you had to lift it by the hinges. The beds/mattresses offer no support.

We only stayed 2 days. They had weddings there both days with loud music and they took over the restaurant so there was no place to eat for hotel guests. Location is right at the beach, which is nice.

Overall the hotel seems a bit run down. Room was spacious but beds were too soft (not in a good way, more like in a used to much way. I think it’s a decent hotel. But compared to the Beachcombers next door, it seems old and a bit dirty overall.

The location is great! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed. The room was amazing! We had a king room which overlooked the ocean and the pool. Very nice and clean: the food, drinks and service at the restaurant were amazing! Thank you!

My only recommendation is too have space on the beach for guests to sit a beach chair but that is not in their control.
