AURoom size was good. Big screen TV. Gym available but equipment basic.
I thought the Mercure would have a decent breakfast for a small town location. Selection was basically Indonesian. No real western alternative. Omelette was very undercooked. The inside was still running. On day 2 had to give egg station person instructions to really cook the omelette. Vegetables were extremely salty and cold. Apple juice needed to be diluted as it was too sweet. TV was confusing. Day 1 and 2 couldn't watch TV channels but YouTube was available. Day 3, 41 TV channels available but You Tube nolonger accessible. Smoking was allowed around the pool area. This smoke entered the main dining area. The hotel is packed on Public Holidays with people from Jakarta. Literally standing room only for breakfast. Get in early (before 6.30am) or leave it till later (after 8am). The Hotel is fairly new, but has some obvious poor workmanship. "Drummy" floor tiles in the bathroom. Water in the shower pools at the opposite end of the drain outlet.

NLOur stay in this beautiful new hotel was a very nice surprise! Garut is a pleasant smaller town in a stunningly beautiful environment. The hotel is a perfect base for exploring the impressive Papandayan volcano and the green rice fields of the Preangan area. The rooms are well designed with beautiful decoration. Beds and bathrooms leave nothing to be desired. The infinity pool is really nice. People at the reception and those taking care of the rooms and the restaurant are extremely caring, kind and smiling all the time. The hotel is situated next to a shopping centre with many restaurants and coffee shops. On the other side is a water park.
Nothing of note. We really enjoyed. Maybe the espresso and cappuccinos served at breakfast should be stronger and more like real Italian ones.

Evening BBQ buffet lacked healthy salad and vegetable options. Fish was sub standard. meat and fish cooked on same hot plate. Breakfast was not up to international standard hotel, focus on sweets and deserts. When asked to assist with transportation took many attempts to offer help. Pool far too warm, fitness room not in keeping with international chain standards very poor.
