Everything was good, it’s a cute and cozy apartment house, very hot but there is air conditioner, so no issues. 😉

There was a problem with lack of water but the caretakers resolved it quickly.

Location

We booked a appartment 3 months in advance and were informed by the owner that other clients would access the lounge to get to their rooms, only 2 days prior to arrival. The Cleaning staff used the lounge kitchen to watch tv, eat lunch and sleep!! DO NOT EXPECT A PRIVATE APPARTMENT AS ADVERTISED! THE OWNER NEEDS TO BE HONEST IN THE ADVERT!

Very nice welcome through the people there, perfect location, very central, owner was super responsive and helped out with questions. They were also generous and flexible with the dates we needed, appreciate that. The room is spacious and it is so wonderful to have your own fridge, a microwave and some plates in the small kitchen, if you wanna keep fruits or milk there for instance. They created a beautiful home, I decided to stay here again and would recommend it :)

2-3 times, there was no water, needed to find out how to activate the pump, then it works. Bed foam too soft, so that your body always leaves a sinkhole in the mattress, only one lamp working in the room, so it was a bit dark. Loud at night sometimes - due to the good location :)

Position. Located in the heart of Stone Town and main sites in the city.

Travelling together with my wife by the end of 11/24. Arrived on Monday. No conditioning air even if I booked and paid for a room with it. Two noisy fans inside the room that, combined with the high temperature and humidity, didn't allow us to sleep properly. No tv even if I booked and paid for a room with it. Only 1 towel even if I book for 2 ppl. They gave me an extra blanket to use as towel when i asked for the 2nd towel. They never gave me the 2nd towel. They didn't received us at 11:30 even if in the booking confirmation it was written Check-in from 00:00. The toilet, outside the room, allowed whoever passing by it to see inside by a window on the door covered by a net. Extra recommendations about saving water and electricity since the booking moment: by booking messages, by WhatsApp, at the arrival... I remained very disappointed about all this issues. I suggest to book in the surroundings but not in this house.

I stayed in twin room. The toilet lid was not fixed, so the lid just on. One bed creaked every time I moved. The water heater switch is another guest room next door, so to take a hot shower, you have to ask the guest next door to turn on the water heater.

The apartment we were given was modern, although not perfect, enough with good air conditioning, bathroom etc. The attention by phone and by Masoud was very welcoming. In general, it was ok for the price but there are better options.

We were informed just a few hours before arrival that due to some problems they changed us to another apartment. Having no time anymore to change hotel or anything. The apartment was not so bad but it was not in the same location as the originally booked. Also I booked a double deluxe room and was given a twin with the bathroom outside the room. It was never clear that the apartments are shared and the bathroom is outside. Luckily we were alone those days.

It is located in the middle of old town, right next to all the shops. The room was very spacious and clean. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly.

Only the arrival is tricky. The streets are too narrow for cars to pass. It took our driver four phone calls and more than 30 minutes to align with the host where to drop us. The guy who was sent to that position to pick us up was not willing to help with the luggage. (We had to ask several times before he did). Just for you to be prepared to carry all your luggage for some time while walking.
