Horbury High St Wakefield ideal for long stays and contractors

The house was bright, airy and spacious. A very pleasant outdoor area to sit out. A big, well equipped kitchen.

If you're a light sleeper, you may wish to shut the bedroom window at night as the bells from the nearby church chime every 15 minutes through the night.

Large kitchen dinning room. Spacious bedrooms. Nice outdoor patio area.

The property is in a great location, parking right outside the house with a permit. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen pretty well equipped, heating worked great. Bed very comfy. Nice little enclosed garden for the dog. Horbury had multiple pubs which we tried, all very friendly and most dog friendly. We had Sunday lunch at the king’s arms just a 5 min walk from the house. Highly recommend. Some good walks pretty much on the door step. A few shops 5 mins walk away. Host was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing major, just a few suggestions. The back door could do with a lock to keep the bottom part of the stable door attached to the top. Kitchen needs a few bits like, a whisk, measuring jug, wooden spoon. Just bits we came across that we needed but nothing that we couldn’t compromise on. Maybe could also do with an extra wheelie bin as it was already full when we arrived.

We have stayed in this property several times the facilities and location are excellent.

On this visit we found the keys are difficult to open, but did again access after several attempts.

Nice location. Comfortable.

It's permit-only parking, but free parking is available close by.

Clean and comfortable, will definitely come again.
