Wainstones Shepherd's Hut

This tiny hut has everything you'd need. It is very cute. The view is wonderful. The bed was small but comfortable.

Not a complaint but be aware, it is a small space.

We loved our stay it was so cosy, had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. It was just what we needed a little quiet cosy retreat with beautiful views. Really appreciated breakfast was included and the eggs, fresh milk and juice were yummy! Plus the little sweet treats. We had lovely weather the first evening and then rainy the second but it didn’t matter as it gave us the excuse to get the log burner on and play some games.

Beautiful views from the hut and full privacy. The yard was a delight. The hut is very charming and well equipped.

One window did not have any curtain so it was difficult to sleep. Also, the included breakfast provided could be a little more substantial (although eggs were offered and provided when we requested sugar). For C2C walkers, the location is a significant distance from the path along a busy road as well as requiring steep climb at the end of a long day of walking.

It’s a lovely, well equipped shepherds hut in a stunning setting. Definitely coming back.

A really nice experience - never stayed in a shepherds hut before . Space is very limited obviously but we loved it

The location is breathtaking, made all the better by being able to watch a beautiful sunset and a full moon rising. The hut was spotless! It had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. There isn’t anything that hasn’t been thought about. I’d like thank Lindsay for such a wonderful welcome.

Mayby just put a sign on the main road for the walker
