È stata l'ultima parte della nostra luna di miele, come concluderla al meglio! Abbiamo realizzato il desiderio di vivere direttamente sul mare, scendere le scale e fare snorkeling per osservare tartarughe, coralli, tantissimi pesci, avere sempre in vista il mare cristallino, semplicemente meraviglioso! Potresti raggiungere questo luogo anche solo con il bagaglio a mano, non avrai bisogno altro che ti costume e qualche abito, tutto il resto è fornito dalla struttura, anche pinne e maschera! Sarà un bellissimo ricordo, e chissà un giorno ci torneremo!

We saw a Dugong on the first afternoon! The next day 2 were circling around us together in unison for 5 minutes. Rolling ever so slightly to give us a really good once over. You will see reef sharks and turtles on almost every snorkel. The most magnificent home reef with  huge cabbage corals  enmasse. Follow the edge of the chanel to see a diverse,vibrant ,and  healthy reef. Jump in the water at night you may see the famous walking shark. We were lucky enough to spot one a few feet from our bungalow steps. Rachid's over water bungalows are fantastic. Walk down the steps  and straight into the water. Comfy beds,nice linen and breakfast on your balcony at the time of your choosing. The meals are varied and tasty you won't go hungry here. There are many day trips on offer try  Rashid's Robinson Crusoe tour. A full day of exploring new and existing stunning locations by snorkel,boat,and beach walks. Friwen Eco resort  is intimate ,peaceful and surrounded by nature.  You'll leave feeling like youve stayed with friends.

I rarely write reviews this long, but this place genuinely deserves it. Even though I only had one full day in Raja Ampat, this experience felt like something out of a magic book. From the moment I arrived, everything felt special. The location is beautiful, clean, peaceful, and extremely well maintained, while the staff make you feel cared for every single moment. You might hear some music coming from the small village, but nothing too much. A huge thank you to Rashid, the owner, who personally came to greet me, present the bungalow, and make sure everything was perfect. You can immediately feel the passion and soul behind this place. Tirsah, Ekha, and the entire team were simply incredible throughout my stay. The meals are simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and honestly the prices are more than reasonable for such a remote island paradise. One thing I absolutely loved was that lunch and dinner happen at fixed times with everyone sitting together at one table. It creates such a warm atmosphere where travelers connect naturally. Add some music, singing, dancing after dinner, and suddenly it feels less like accommodation and more like a family experience. There is also a friendly cuscus visiting in the evenings for bananas, which somehow made the whole experience even more magical. The coral reef is literally at your doorstep, and the small island village itself is incredibly beautiful to walk through — peaceful, authentic, and full of charm. Another thing worth mentioning is that the property has 24/7 electricity and Wi-Fi, which is honestly impressive considering how remote and untouched this paradise is. And then came the Piaynemo tour… Honestly, pure heaven on Earth. The timing was impeccable — we arrived early before the crowds — and the snorkeling around the neighboring islands felt unreal. Sharks, turtles, endless colorful fish, crystal-clear water… it genuinely felt like being inside a nature documentary.

Tout était parfait !! La chambre, l’emplacement, la vue, les gérants et le personnel au petit soin pour rentre le séjour magique. Chaque personne est à la fois discrète et professionnelle mais également hyper friendly avec de belle petites attentions! Excursion avec un soin très personnel et adapté exactement à ma demande. Le lieu et magique et Eka et Rachid à l’image de leur Lodge. Nous avons même fait la fête le samedi soir! Merci énormément. Je recommande les yeux fermés ! ❤️❤️

Einmalige Lodge, die sehr zu empfehlen ist! Es gibt nur wenige Bungalows und somit nur wenige Gäste. Es ist daher sehr persönlich und familiär. Der Eigentümer Rachid und sein Team machen den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Er organisiert und begleitet die ganzen Ausflüge persönlich. Das Frühstück wird direkt im Bungalow serviert und die restlichen Mahlzeiten werden zusammen im Restaurant eingenommen. Das Essen ist extrem gut und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Bungalows sind super schön und geräumig. Das eigene Badezimmer mit Frischwasser-Dusche haben wir sehr geschätzt. Direkt vor dem Bungalow startet das wunderschöne Hausriff. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!

We stayed at friewn for a week. We had an absolute blast. The location and the reef is stunning, the rooms are super nice, and the staff is so friendly and fun. Rachid is really passionate about the sea life here and his daytrips are truly unique campared to what everyone else offers. He was also super helpful with organizing transfer, driver etc. its an absolute gem and we can only recommend

Our breakfast was brought to our room every morning and it was delicious and fresh. We were able to snorkel straight from our hut . Beautiful sunrise in the mornings .. birds singing always lovely to wake up to. Lovely meals in the dining area and staff always friendly and helpful . Maya was an absolute delight . Sophia a gorgeous Cus Cus was a bonus to see. A truly relaxing homestay experience . We did not want for a thing.

Rachid was an amazing host. The property is set directly in front of an amazing house reef with snorkelling literally at the steps of your bungalow.
