Superbes bungalow tout confort ! Le parfait mixe entre authentique et confortable, bien au dessus des standards de Raja Ampat globalement, tout entre restant parfaitement intégrés dans cette nature sauvage et magnifique. Bungalow avec douche et toilettes privés, lits avec sommier, terrasse sur pilotis avec accès direct à la mer turquoise remplie de poissons et coraux de toutes les couleurs ! La nourriture est excellente et en quantité plus que suffisante ! Parfaitement cuisiné, parfaitement épicé, les cuisiniers sont talentueux ! Rachid et son staff sont incroyablement gentils et aidants.

The host Rachid is knowledge on lots of Marine life in the area, making it interesting to snorkel and discuss about the biodiversity life in raja ampat. Room is clean, and look as advertised, 24 hours electricity with solar panel is a luxury in raja ampat. House reef great for easy snorkeling around the bungalows. A Family of clownfish is living under our bungalow. Shout out to Pak Aris one of the staff who is very friendly and having a fun time playing with our kids

We had an amazing stay at Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge. We were received by Rachid and Eka, a lovely couple, who were outstanding hosts. Rachid was very responsive prior to our arrival, sharing all the information we needed, and during our stay, they both made us feel truly at home, which is not easy when you’re thousands of kilometres away from yours. The bungalows are fantastic: cosy, with private bathrooms and toilets that worked perfectly, and cleaned daily while we were out exploring. The little fan at the end of the bed was ideal for comfortable nights and naps. We spent hours relaxing on our terrace sunbed, watching the turquoise water and all the life beneath it. Every day, we could see beautiful batfish, colourful parrotfish, and needlefish swimming by our bungalow, almost as if they were inviting us to join them. We even fished once from the jetty with Rachid and his fishing rod. Rachid himself goes spearfishing daily to serve the freshest meals possible. Breakfast was served each morning on our terrace, and the meals at the restaurant were delicious, prepared with local products by the loveliest staff. Every day brought a new dish, full of flavour and surprises (ask for Eka’s green coconut-filled pancakes). One evening, they organised a special romantic dinner in our bungalow to celebrate the start of our honeymoon. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Rachid and Eka were always smiling, happy, in a good mood, and incredibly helpful. They lent us fins for snorkelling, shared cool, interesting, and funny stories about the place and their lives, and organised all our visits and transfers seamlessly. Rachid also sent us great photos he took of us. They provide free wifi with a great connection that allowed us to watch movies at night and call our families. Electricity is available all the time, powered by a few solar panels. There is also a lovely small village just minutes away on foot.

Kurz und knapp: Wir hatten hier mit die beste Zeit in Indonesien. Die Bungalows direkt am Wasser sind einzigartig. Rachid ist ein hervorragender Host, der viele spannende Geschichten zu erzählen hat. Seine Freundin und das gesamte Team verwöhnten uns jeden Tag mit super leckerem Essen - vor allem die gegrillten Fischspezialitäten waren köstlich. Highlights sind außerdem die Touren mit Rachid (unbedingt buchen). Wer einen Mix aus Abenteuer und Entspannung in einem schönen Bungalow möchte, ist hier richtig. Die Unterkunft ist übrigens auch in der Nähe von der Tarzan-Tauchschule (10 Minuten mit dem Boot) - Tauchausflüge sind von hier aus also auch kein Problem.

Bellissimo bungalow dotato di ogni confort e in posizione ottimale per esplorare le isole. Barriera corallina davanti al bungalow. Il proprietario è sempre disponibile nell’organizzare attività, aiutarti nella programmazione e sempre presente! Pasti ottimi. Letto molto comodo. Internet funzionante. Possibilità di pagare con la carta. Vacanza stupenda!

Quando siamo andati noi non c’era l’acqua calda ma, considerando il clima, non è stato un problema. Oltretutto il proprietario ha già predisposto tutto per il suo funzionamento.

We liked the service provided from all the staff. We loved how beautiful and easily accessible the coral and fish were straight off our front deck. The meals were all fantastic.Our host, Rachid, was very knowledgeable about the area and was keen to share his experience. The Bat Island and Friwen wall tours were out of this world. The accommodation was superb.

È’ stato tutto stupendo e ha reso il nostro viaggio a Raja Ampat magnifico ✨ Rashid è lo staff sono delle persone stupende, e il Homestay ci ha permesso di vivere un sogno di vacanza 🌸 I piatti cucinati dallo chef del Homestay erano sempre diversi e uno più buono dell’altro con prodotti freschi e locali 😋 Consiglio a tutti che vengono a Raja Ampat di soggiornare qui almeno 4-5 giorni. La casa è perfetta con diretto accesso nel mare per fare snorkeling, letto comodissimo, design durato nei minimi dettagli e la terrazza ti permette di godere l’alba e il tramonto con vista speciale. Wow what a wonderful place! Rachid (Dutch owner) has worked so hard to make this slice of paradise be an image of imagination. Beautiful water bungalows with a private bathroom built on an isolate beautiful turquoise sea. At the time of staying, there were only three water bungalows, which meant our stay felt personal with our neighbour and the owner. From your bungalow you can immediately go snorkelling and have a swim with the local fish 😄 we had a grand time staying 4 nights and exploring our local area. The interior of the water bungalows are also very pretty! Rattan based and artistically by local craftsman Felt very modern eco- solar panels, septic tanks
