Improved Private House in Central Location

Hi step up to front door Not ideal with anyone that may have mobility issues I struggled due to arthritis in knee. The Internet wouldn't connect to tv. So had to buy an ariel. Also parking can be an issue

Was dirty, showing that the towels will be provided and it wasn't, contacted the owner with no response. They don't care about the customer, just money making with 0 of the effort

Filthy house, muck under the sheets so the beds hadn't been changed. Dirty kitchen, especially the sink, worn scourer left. Marks on bedroom and lounge walls. Muck on settee and stairs. Floors (and walls) hadn't been cleaned. The house hadn't been cleaned. Ok, the bathroom might have been but there was n o toilet paper. There was a sold sign still attached to the back gate .(Last sold in April 2024?) We didn't stay but found a nice clean Travelodge room instead.

Only the fact that we got a response when stranded about going in

it was very dusty the bedsheet looks like it has not been changed for a while very stuffy. No Email for check in even till we got to the door no pin number given we were outside in the cold stranded had to call before we were given pin number to access the door. no hand wash to even wash the hands quite cheap though but could be neat at least too dirty and dusty

The beds were filthy and had clearly been slept in, none of the floors had even been hoovered, it was filthy all over.

To start, I was not given any instruction to get in to the property untill I had to call to recieve it over a phone call!!! Second; The house stinked cannabis and even though I had ventilated the whole house, there was no way to clear the smell!!! When I contacted the property, they said that it was inposible! But, they Ask the cleaners and come back to me.. I have had no news so far. The description says that the property is refurbished however, the fridge is dirty and it smells, the walls are dirty, I mean we where on business trip, we would have appreciated the basics as towels and clean fridge! I have been in many properties in Portsmouth this two past month but this is by far the worst experience. This property shouldn’t have been listed as an accommodation in booking.
