There is luxury and luxury. We paid over the odds for this property for 3 nights and there were no little touches, not even a bottle of water. The dishwasher was full when we got there and there was only one dish washer tablet so had to use that to wash the last occupants dirty stuff. No scissors! No instructions for rubbish disposal or anything else as pages missing from information book. No welcome pack that I paid £40 for. Half a miniature bottle of conditioner. Very exposed throughout property as people on balcony opposite 24/7! No blind in second bedroom to pull down and door didn't shut properly. Key collection from key safe on board but there were 10 key safe's so no idea which one.

The apartment was a great location, spacious and clean. The apartment & complex had great facilities, including the roof pools - a very welcome addition to our family as they were very quiet during out stay. The whole family were please with what there was to offer at the apartment. We were called to let me know the apartment was ready ahead of schedule. We had already arrived and we were having lunch at the marina so keys were brought to us. During our stay we had a small problem with A/C which was quickly resolved.

There was nothing we didnt like about the apartment. A few more plates and bowls would be helpful and also a drying rack for clothes, but not essential we managed just fine.

The location was perfect, and the property itself had good air-con, a nice comfy sofa, comfortable beds and a decent sized balcony.

I expected the property to have a check-in desk, but instead we were sent a photo of the board where the keys were being held in the port. I didn’t get the info right away, as I had just arrived in the country. When I finally got the keys and entered, I was sad to see that the welcome package with a birthday message for my son, was nowhere to be seen. I rang up to complain, only to be told that the welcome package had been left in the bathroom! When I looked, the only thing that had been left was a small toiletries set, with products I would not even buy from Poundland. I was offered a refund for the mistake, yet instead of refunding me the money I paid, they have taken more money from my account and without authorisation! Next I went to look for the spar. While there is a small pool and suntanning area, no spar exists. Next we decided to get freshened up before going to explore. Unfortunately there were no clean towels (only wet and musty ones that had been hung on the towel rail), the shower was filthy and the floor was full of ants that kept biting me. I looked for some clean towels, but could only find yet more damp and musty towels that had been left in a drawer. In the end I had to shower with my flip-flops on and dry myself with some of my clean clothes. The washing machine at the property was also filthy and musty, so I washed all the towels by hand and hung them up to dry. Apart from that, the fridge stunk, there were damp and used cloths under the sink, there were cracked glasses in the cupboard, some very cheap cutlery in a drawer, the bins had shopping bags for bin liners, the oven barely worked, the dish-washer was rubbish, the iron did nothing but stain my clothes with brown water and the communal area smelled like a combination of mould and stale urine. Given my time again, I’d pay the extra and stay at the sunborn (I’ve stayed there before and it was much cleaner, with better facilities, better value for money and they didn’t rip me off).

The apartment is stunning. The location is great, with all the bars and restaurants on Marina Bay really close. There is everything you could need provided for a home from home experience. The roof terraces are great. For most of our stay, our building was really quiet. We would definitely return to this apartment again.

There were just 2 days when there was a really antisocial family on the roof terraces. With kids running between the buildings, mum was smoking, which is prohibited. The kids were "bombing" into the lap pool and put us off going up to the terrace on our last day.
