Spotlight Hotel near Hundred Islands Wharf

We understood that this hotel was not going to be luxurious, but in general we were comfortable. We did not avail ourselves of the breakfast.

Room was very spartan, almost like a hostel. Hotel did not have an elevator. Plumbing fixtures were in need of repair. Hand-held shower did not have a wall mount to hold it. Rooms had residential key locks.

The rooms were clean. The staff was very cooperative.

They charged us extra for early check-in, though I said we do have an early checkout. I was early by 2 hrs, and they charged me for the 2 hrs. There was no baggage drop option either. The toilets smelled bad and looked old. The restaurant technically was there but as good as non-existent, as they didn't have many options.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and polite. Location is convenient, near the wharf and restaurants.

There is no lift / elevators, which is inconvenient for the elderly who are part of our group.

The room says 2 bunk beds are included bit we were only given 1

Personnels are not welcoming and hospitable. We paid for extras, dahil mali "daw" ang nakalagay sa booking. So beware when you book. Maybe call them first to clarify. Breakfast is not good compare sa mga napuntahan namin. Sa mga included sa room, may pamimilian lang na 3 types of breakfast. No tapas, no tocino included. For extra breakfast, I ordered for my kids american breakfast. They served it just 1pc of pancake, 1 banana and 1 egg for 160Pesos. 😐 Sa Cr tumutulo at basang basa, I told it sa reception and they said "opo may sira talaga yun". So why give the room to the client kung may sira pala. 😏 Never again.
