Spotlight Hotel near Hundred Islands Wharf

Good location

The property is about 10 minutes walk to Lucap wharf which is the landing place for island hopping on the hundred islands. The property is clean as per description.

The property only has stairs which make it harder for people with mobility problems to.

The Hotel is in walking Distance to the Harbour for the 100 Islands. The Rooms are ok for a 2* Standard, clean and relativly modern. In the Room to the Backside I had a good Sleep. The Ladies at the Reception are friendly and helpful. The Spotlight Hotel has no Pool, however a small Pool in the Oceanfront Guesthouse which is 1 KM away and belongs to the same Owner can be used.

I had booked a Standard Double Room and was asking for a quiet Room. However when arriving at the Hotel, I had to learn that the Standard Double Rooms all face the busy and noisy Road. Only Family Rooms (which by the way have exactly the same Size, only Difference is a second Bed) are towards the quiet Backside. Although there were 3 Rooms available, the Hotel Owner asked for the 2 nights an additional 55$ on the Price of the Double Room to get a quiet Room. For this Price (70$) the Room was definitly far too expensive. Further more, the Breakfast is really basic and had to be ordered the evening before. Both Days, my Breakfast was cold. All Beds in this Hotel have a Foot End so if you more than 1,90m it could be uncomfortable. Wifi Internet was down most of the Time.

Location was great and the hotel looks great on the outside. Lobby looks welcoming and clean.

There’s no lift so it will be difficult for guest with big suitcases. We came in a big group so had a family room. Sink was rusty and the shower does not have its holder. Found stains on pillow cases and shower towel not very absorbent. They did provide a toiletry kit for each guests so it was nice.

Staff were helpful and friendly. This hotel is within walking distance of the departure point for the Hundred Islands tours. This hotel is new and is good by rural Philippine standards.

No elevator

The staff attended to our needs, coordinated our Hundred Islands registration and tour, and took us to the port and back to the hotel, so we did not have to worry about anything. Great service!

Some of the power outlets and plumbing fixtures were faulty. The ref did not really work so leftovers got spoilt.

The location is very suitable for visiting One Hundred Islands. The staff were very cooperative and helpful.

It is very close to the beach for a boat tour.

The place is overrated and had paint peeling and was not clean. I will attach the 1 photo of paint peeling and 3 photos of the bathroom. The first room they gave us had a broken door and someone would be able to look right on to the bed. They fixed the door after they moved us. The new room was worn out and filthy. FILTHY! The food was not so great but passable. The "free breakfast" is only free if you want a Filipino breakfast. American food was not free! How does Booking decide what hotels to list? I am not happy with Booking.
