Cleaning not up to scratch Pool area a mess, never saw it being cleaned or sun beds to be tidy at end of each day. Got charged twice and refund not processed in a quick urgent timely manner. Front desk staff need training in customer service

A good sized modern room, excellent AC and clean.

The check out process. Gave a deposit, then on check out they do a physical search of the room and mini bar. Advised a couple of items weren't present, that we hadn't taken, but had waited for 15 minutes and they said would look again, so just settled the bill (should have taken a pic of mini bar and fridge). Then didn't use deposit to part settle the bill (we'd ordered drinks and food and put on the room), so we paid what was owed and advised the deposit would take 2 weeks to be returned. Once sorted, we were then told we could leave our bags in reception until we collected them later. This wasn't ideal, someone could tamper with them, or indeed steal them. Fortunately we had friends who were staying longer, so left them in their apartment until late that day. This is definitely something they need to improve on.

the swimming pool and breakfasts were nice

1. hotel terrain, the hotel consists of 8 buildings and is placed on a hill, if you get a room in the last building you will have to climb the hill for 10 mins after you pass the hotel gate - definitely not a good hotel for families with children who ride strollers 2. when you walk to the beach there is no sidewalk, you have to pass the scooters and cars parked on the side of the road 3. hotel surroundings are full of trash 4. Surin Beach has no restaurants along the beach, there is just one beach bar, it is very noisy and dirty 5. hotel staff speaks very basic english, we had multiple communication issues 6. we have received the swimming pool towels on the 3rd day, after 4 calls to the reception 7. there is NO ROOM CLEANING service, the rooms are cleaned before your check in and there is no cleaning during your stay in the hotel (we stayed for 4 days) 8. the hotel has multiple facilities, but no people to maintain them 9. it is said to see a hotel with such nice rooms deteriorating because of very poor management

The hôtel pools were really nice and the suite was very nice and comfortable.

the staff is totally incompetent, the Check was scheduled for 2 p.m. but we did not have the room before 5 p.m., this is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel, no action was offered, there is really a problem at level of respect for customers. on top of that, there was no water from 7 p.m. to midnight throughout the hotel and in the rooms of all guests.
