Rooms were very large and bright. Bathroom was beautifully renovated.

The steps are narrow and spiral. Just be careful!

"Perfect Central Location in the Heart of Kilkenny"

We had a great stay at Market Slip. The location was perfect — centrally located and walkable to everything in Kilkenny. The room had thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and a standing fan, which we really appreciated. The shower was great and the included toiletries were a nice bonus. We stayed on a Friday night and could hear a little music outside, but it was minimal and never disrupted our sleep. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the market slip house, there was a few stairs to climb to get to our top floor rooms Rm3 and Rm4, which were slightly narrow and winding but once you’re up there with your luggage the hard work is done… it was so much easier going up and back down without cases… but don’t let this put you off, you could always ask for a lower floor I suppose We opened the doors to 2 beautifully decorated rooms, a lot of thought has gone into these to make into a boutique style bedroom/bathroom very highly recommended

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, if I have 1 negative it was paring our car for the overnight stay No parking outside the property as it’s down a little alleyway off the Main Street so parking was in a main car park… and lots off them I may add but we misread as.. we couldn’t park overnight, but turns out you can, we ended up in the Market Cross multi storey shopping centre just 3 mins across the road
