Hendrix’s cottage

Great location just outside of the city. Gated property with parking right next to the cottage. A warm and friendly welcome from the host after we had settled was a nice touch. Decor was lovely, beds comfy, fantastic shower. Overall I lovely little get away welcoming in the new year.

Hosts were fantastic on arrival, lovely property very well kitted out for your stay, a few essential items left for your arrival such as bread, milk, butter etc to get you started, owners contactable at anytime but your given your privacy, a welcome folder with all contacts, things to do locally and menus for several local food places, really just a very well set up cottage.

Good quiet location, set far enough back from the road as to not be disturbed, close enough to Lincoln, without the headache of the city centre. Andy is a great host, showed us around, leaves a little welcome basket to get you started which is always a nice touch.

The kettle probably needs to be descaled, or replaced. The main bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, with limescale on the shower screen, rain shower head, hair on the shower head (the small one) and the mirror cabinet needing a deep clean. We did however book less than 24 hours prior to arrival, and they weren’t a massive deterrence and would still book again if venturing to Lincoln in the future.

Modern clean and well equipped. Tea, coffee, Milk bread cake crackers and wine on arrival . Andy host very friendly The apartment was warm and well equipped
