The Saffron House was absolutely amazing! From the warm welcome to the spacious, beautifully designed room, everything was perfect. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—delicious and beautifully prepared. The location is ideal, nestled between two stunning beaches, and the view from the pool is simply breathtaking. Whether relaxing by the water or exploring the area, every moment felt like a dream. I can’t wait to return!

This place was our FAVOURITE! It is a hidden gem - a slice of paradise!! We were so impressed by our stay - the views are incredible, with the pool and the sea, and as there are only a few rooms, it's super spacious and you feel it's very private. Staff were super helpful and accommodating, making us an early breakfast as we headed off the airport. Delicious breakfast and excellent location. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Wifi in the hotel room could be better.

loved the property - we rented one of the 4 rooms in the property. Ours faced onto the pool, with great views out to sea. The fact that there are few rooms meant that often we had the infinity pool to ourselves. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Lovely gardens. Felt really private. Local breakfast with fresh fruit - delicious.

one suggestion for improvement would be to put some screening on the windows to stop the monkeys coming into the room otherwise, we thought everything was great

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It was incredibly relaxing, and the amenities were top-notch. The pool was spotless, and the surrounding area was thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect spot to spend our days reading and unwinding. The staff were fantastic—attentive and welcoming—and the breakfasts were phenomenal, easily some of the best we’ve had. With only five rooms, the hotel felt wonderfully intimate, offering a peaceful and personal experience. The view of the ocean was breathtaking, and the landscaping was beautifully done. We were also delighted by the peacocks and monkeys that frequented the area, adding to the charm of the setting. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a tranquil and memorable getaway in Sri Lanka.

Very good location, lovely pool and space for relaxing. Hosts were very friendly and provided lovely breakfast each morning. Very quiet and peaceful.
