The Saffron House

It was totally stunning - amazing setting, spacious rooms with outdoor bathroom (which was still private) and also a lovely lounge space. The breakfast was also amazing. Such a treat to stay here, thank you!

We loved everything - there is no bar, but you can buy your own beer elsewhere and store in the fridge and they have no problem with you doing that.

An oasis of green and calm away from the very busy Heriketiya beach . Chris , Geraldine and Josh were so welcoming, caring and helpful. They really looked after me after I took a tumble . The breakfasts were fab too and being able to sit out with a view of the ocean surrounded by green and wildlife was very special. Thank you .

I almost don't want to write a review, so I can keep this hidden gem a secret. But .. Wow. From the moment we arrived at Saffron House we were blown away. The property is stunning, the pool is amazing, private, secluded, just gorgeous. The thing that made this place all the more special, was the incredible hosts Christabel and her family. Chris' cooking was absolutely delicious! Her warm and welcoming nature made the place extra special. We didn't want to leave, and will certainly be back.

Though it was the most expensive stay during our holiday, this was by far our Favorite one. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are spacious, the beds are huge and with very thick matras, and the view from the infinity pool overlooking the sea is simply to die for!!

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed anywhere we've been to, and we've been to quite some countries in the tropics Beautiful views, nice swimming pool, good food, comfy rooms and bed.

I’d rate Saffron House higher if I could - it is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. There is so much space around the property for relaxing in a tranquil setting. What really makes the venue exceptional is Chris and Geraldine and their extended family who are perfect hosts. They are so welcoming, their food is delicious and they can’t do enough to ensure you have a brilliant time at Saffron House. This place was by far the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful from the minute you go through the front gate. Very quiet & peaceful. The rooms are very clean & beautifully decorated. The staff are absolutely amazing. The view from the pool is stunning.

Going at the time of year we did (wet season) our room smelt a little bit. Through the day you can have it all open but at night it needed to be locked up as monkeys are around. This would not deter us from staying again.
