Verona Hotel and Conference Center

The room was clean, bathroom was particularly very very good. I loved the hot water system. There is a lift to take you to the hotel floor. There is a swimming area upstairs.

Breakfast can be improved on. Although it was not part of the package the kitchen staff can try to match the standards set by the hotel.

The bed was comfortable. The Location was good for me.

The food did not taste good to me. The chicken I ordered was tough. The Music from the Club was overbearing. The vibrating boom boom boom kept me awake all week. I kept asking for help from the staff at the desk. They would ask the manager and he would not do anything. He kept promising to do something but never did. I could not even see him. Every time I was there he could not be found. Several times I did not have hot water in my shower. The hotel fits my need because of the location but I can not deal with the club that is above the rooms. It was 2 or 2:30 several nights before it ended. Also...A BIG ALSO... The manager has not refunded my over payment. The lady at the desk ask to make a photocopy of my Visa Card. I told her that was very unprofessional. We have called multiple times only to get a runaround on why they will not give me my refund. Its too bad that this happened. IT would have been a good location for me to stay when I am in Kenya.

It was spacious

Website advertised air conditioning. There was none. Hot water kettle did not work. Had to ask for another one. Had to insist a refrigerator be brought in because website promised one and it was not in the room. Hate to say it. But, it was kind of a typical African hotel experience.

The location was good

The glass between the bedroom and the toilet is transparent. No privacy. The window sheer curtains weren't there

The staff are very kind, humble ,respectful and very helpful.

The hotel is on the 4th floor of a shopping mall on the 5 floor is A DISCO HALL !!!!!! The disco operates 7 days a week ...so loud that you need earplugs to sleep. It's very very disappointing and disturbing. How do this hotel allow this to happen?!!!. The bathroom is very clean but a sewer small from the drainage is awful.
