Superbe environnement, lodge très confortable avec beaucoup de place et petite piscine privée , le tout en pleine nature et ensemble de la structure très bien décoré . Bon service et très bon guide de safaris

Accueil un peu administratif et directif et oubli au départ de tamponner le ticket d’accès au parc Kruger, afin de pouvoir sortir du Parc. Prix élevé par rapport à la prestation et ensemble vieillissant méritant un meilleur entretien.

The food was geberally delcious but there werent so many great vegetarian/vegan options. The guides and rangers were fantastic and the staff in the lodge were always friendly and enthusiastic. The rooms and outside spaces are also fabulous!

We stayed in the villa and it exceeded ALL expectations. It is beautifully laid out, a huge space, private and beautifully decorated. Clean and lovingly maintained. Absolute paradise overlooking the river bed. The staff were exceptional especially Jacob our guide who got the pace, interest etc just right and knows the area so very well and Lindiwe with such a warm heart. Amazing game drives, Amarula hot chocolate and the food was out of this world! Stay was beyond EXCEPTIONAL. Wanted more time there and will definitely go back. Don’t agree with some comments on closed top concession meaning more limited game viewing - we did both on this holiday and saw just as much and some very special leopard sightings.

We had a great stay at Jock. Our guide was fantastic and we enjoyed all game drives. The lodge was fantastic with great meals and service.

A brilliant place. Jan was an amazing guide, full of knowledge and easily ticked off the big 5. Gourmet food is impeccable although I was fit to burst after a few days of the food, no complaints there! Enjoyed the facilities, the game drives and the privacy of the place.

Rooms feel a little tired but I was informed that a refurb is due so that will solve that. Need to be a little more proactive with issues, I understand and accept things break but I shouldn’t have to inform staff multiple times.

We spent ages looking for the right place for our stay in Kruger. We opted for Jock Safari Lodge because everything was included - no surprise fees - and it’s a private concession area in the southern part of the park which meant it was easy to get to for us. I didn’t know what a private concession was but it’s basically a private part of the Kruger National Park which no one other than guests at Jock Safari Lodge can access. You also get access to the public areas of Kruger too so the area available is huge. The other reason we picked Jock Safari was because it’s in the park so game drives aren’t restricted by park gate opening times. On our first morning, we drive out of the front gate of the lodge and saw a leopard within 5 minutes! The game drives were excellent. We had a total of 4 people plus our guide, Patrick, in the jeep. Each drive was about 3 hours long and included a stop for a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. Again, the advantage of Jock Safari is that in the private concession you can get out of the jeep and walk around - which I don’t think you can do in the public areas of Kruger. If we get to go back to Jock Safari, we’ll definitely be asking for Patrick to be our guide - he was brilliant! The rooms at the lodge are great. Really clean and comfortable. We had an outdoor day bed (with a mosquito net) and a small plunge pool with sun loungers. Our view was onto the river bed. Each day around lunch time we could sit and look at an elephant right from our balcony area! Food at the lodge is also excellent! The best lamb I’ve ever had as well as countless other delicious dishes. You won’t go hungry. There tea, coffee and drinks before each game drive too. The staff were wonderful and so friendly. We forgot binoculars so they were kind enough to find a pair for us to borrow. (Definitely take your own binoculars though!) Overall, I can’t recommend Jock Safari Lodge enough.
