Jock Safari Lodge

All the food and support staff were fantastic Fine dining in the bush Throughout the lodge the staff were great Our Ranger, Janni, was exceptional Game drives are always a bit of a lottery but the coordination between Jocks cars was great and we rarely had a dull moment in 9 drives

Bungalows although with excellent outside spaces were a little cramped internally - a function of being one of the oldest lodges. Bar and restaurant facilities were great.

Food, service , friendly staff, drives were fantastic. You couldn’t ask for more.

Wi-Fi was poor in room and around pool area..

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The setting is incredible with its own private area within the national park. The hotel was luxurious and rooms were all spacious and beautifully decorated with a big decked outside area with plunge pool. The food was delicious especially the special BBQ night. All the staff were so friendly, professional and helpful. The safari experience was fantastic and our ranger Lazarus was amazing. Couldn't rate this place higher.

The Safaris were great, in the large concession area they go off the roads through the bush. There are several river beds. Not the focus, but the landscape is also really beautiful!

We just loved everything about Jock. Our ranger Jacob was brilliant with a huge knowledge of the wildlife and we were very lucky to see the big five and much more. All the staff go out of their way to give you an enjoyable experience even making some a special cake for us and singing happy birthday which was totally unexpected but much appreciated. The food is excellent and you certainly won’t go hungry! Our room was very private with it’s own viewing deck overlooking the river bed where you can often see animals passing by and the only noises you hear are those of the animals and it is just magical.
