"Beautiful location and room with a fabulous breakfast"

The location is gorgeous and the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the room was extremely nice and well presented especially for the price. It was a great stay, highly recommend

Room was comfortable and clean. Expected it to be noisier being over the pub, but it was fine. Food at the Punchbowl is very good and Askham is beautiful.

Evening meal was excellent - they have a great chef. Friendly and helpful staff.

Beer was ok, but I would have hoped it would be a little better kept in a traditional old english pub.

The bed was extremely comfy and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious as well - the lunch and dinner options as well as the included breakfast.
