I like that most of the staff were helpful, honest, and nurturing. I want to extend a big thank you to the receptionist, Misone, for helping me find places to get my hair done, arrange drivers, and provide the information I needed to get around Kigali safely and efficiently. She was so awesome to me during my stay. The housekeeper made sure that my room was cleaned daily and did a good job as well. Dondette was nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were very lovely to me as well. I forgot their names, but they were kind and took care of me while I was there. The staff who took me to the airport were kind and patient. I had an early flight, but he was professional and ready to go by 6 am. He helped me at the airport with my luggage. I didn't know how they handled luggage at the airport (you have to leave your luggage in this area, walk through, and then get your luggage before driving into the terminal area). This was new for me, but he eased my worries. Also, I left cash tips for Misone and the housekeeper with the manager Serge because I had to leave early in the morning, and I didn't see them before I departed. I pray and hope that they got them. The resort is beautiful. The landscaping, restaurant, and scenery are outstanding.

I had to request several times to get the water fixed in my bathroom, which was never fixed. I had cold water for the last two days in my room. The shower had hot water, but the sink for washing my hands was cold. The manager knew about it, and when I reminded him of it, he offered to fix it, but it was late at night, and my flight was early in the morning, so it was too late. Although the room was cleaned up nicely, it could be updated and remodeled. It could be painted, and the ceiling needs to be cleaned up. The toilet is too close to the sink, and there is a leak of water that comes on the floor when you use the bathroom sink. There needs to be more wall outlets to use your laptop and phone. There's just one under the TV. There's none near the bed or nightstand. Once I got home and unpacked, I realized that my universal adapter for my laptop was not in my luggage. Therefore, I reached out to the manager, Serge, so he could check and see if I forgot it in my room. He didn't respond. I messaged the staff on Booking.com as well (waiting for a response). I plan to go back to Kigali soon, and if they can put it away where I can pick it up when I'm there next time. I'm still in East Africa. There's a morning staff member that comes in the morning that needs to have a better attitude when working with guests. She was rude. I would greet her and everybody, and she just looked at me and barely spoke (We call that haterism where I'm from in California). I suppose some people can't stand it when you're happy, bubbly, and enjoying yourself. Overall, my stay was very nice.

Amazing Views, great staff and delicious food 🥰 the manager of the hotel is really amazing and super helpful. The free transfer from the airport is so worth it and was a real blessing when our plane was delayed and landed early hours of the morning. Thank you 🙏🏽
