View,comfy bed, comfy sofa. Lvly character from outside and character garden

Dishwasher broken,decking not swept, noise from main road passing by and open onto main road . Care with dogs needed.

Everything about our stay was fantastic ☺️ it was clean, host was helpful and got back to us straight away. We didn't need anything during our stay after checking in but the communication on our way there was great and I have no doubt if we needed anything that the host would have been more than happy to help. The place itself was cosy, clean and just a great lovely place to stay. Would love to go back in summer.

The only thing that I would change is that the quilt on the bed was a feather quilt which I do have allergies to. I didn't contact the host as we were only there 2 days and my antihistamine did the job.

The property had stunning views with accessibility to many different towns nearby. It was a beautiful place to stay with the comfiest bed (amazing mattress and duvet!) and a fully equipped kitchen for every cooking occasion.

The tv signal was poor. We did have torrential rain for the week so it is to be expected.

Cosy, beautiful views, proximity to Ambleside, dog friendly, privacy, spa bath!

Exiting on to main road was very dangerous. Would benefit from having a welcome pack detailing local walks, amenities etc.

It was perfect for a little getaway. Really cosy and comfortable! Well equipped kitchen and so close to the town, great location!

Nothing! Just sad we couldn’t enjoy the outside area because of the rain but we might even try to stay again soon!

The outdoor space was an incredible surprise and perfect for the dog. All the basics were perfectly covered, and the cottage was really clean given how overtly dog friendly it is and how old it he building is.

Minor maintenance just isn’t getting done; 4 light bulbs gone, showers pole on it’s way out, TV HDMI cable on its way out (the only way to access the freeview), lots of little repairs that needed doing outdoors, (very) old instant coffee left in pot on shelf to point of being black. Minor touches needed to make the cottage perfect.

Garden was lovely

Management was chaotic,miracle we got in,through no arrangements made to get key code.landlady on holiday,nothing in place.

Perfect for us and our dog. Beautiful safe garden and view. Clean and bed is very comfortable. The property is about 2.5k to the shops and restaurants in Ambleside but a pleasant walk.

Perhaps a tiny bit of modernisation but it’s an old cottage and works with the character.

Beautiful views and nice quiet location

I didn't feel safe walking as there weren't any footpaths where the cottage is located so had to drive into Ambleside, especially at night
