Multi Resorts at Aquamarine Villas

Only a 3-minute walk to the beach, this property sits at the very end of the Strand/boardwalk. The rooms are equivalent to a one-bedroom condo, featuring a relaxing balcony with partial ocean views. It is close to many restaurants and only a 10-minute walk to the train station, which we took to beautiful Old Town San Diego to dine and shop. Our favorite street fair, which happens every Thursday night, is just minutes away in downtown Oceanside. The staff here is always great, and the very secure underground parking is a wonderful bonus.

My only complaint is that it's difficult to get a two bedroom unit.

The check in access is through the North Parking which is located in the alley. After speaking with the representative, you log into a kiosk. Parking is in the North or South Parking that you access through the alley to get to your room. I had the second-floor Villa. It had a partial view of the ocean, Villa was spacious with all the accommodations that you need as if you were at home. Full size kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, and silverware. Bed & Pillow were comfy. Bathroom and shower were good. Living room with tv, couche, and two chairs that pulled out were great. balcony with two chairs were great. 2 blocks from the beach. Staff (housekeeping & maintenance) were very friendly. Eateries options in walking distance. No complaints.

The weather was a little more humid than I anticipated. The fan in the room was great and put out enough powerful air to cool you at night. There was a stand-up fan in the closet that you can bring out to wherever you are in the Villa. I recommend an AC mini-split for all of the Villas. This may be expensive for the property owner, but it would add value to the Villa and pay for itself. Yes, this is a beach area after all and most properties do not have an Air Conditioner or Mini Split, but it is something to look research. It will be helpful because there was no cross breeze through the Villa when the sliding glass door & bedroom window were open. I still highly recommend the Villa and would definitely stay again! Don't take this as a complaint, but a recommendation for the AC mini-split.

Location, amenities, covered parking and proximity to beach, restaurants & shops.

Wi-Fi was very slow and we could hardly use it for work purposes. Also, the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. It seems she was tolerating her job versus enjoying it. Customer “Service” felt forced.

Overall the stay was great,location to beach and restaurants very close to Downtown

Not ADA compatible at all, funny how you have handicap parking but all rooms all have to use stairs So my fault not requesting a first floor but when I explained to the host I had a child with a disability I was told the no thing could be done all rooms were booked and if I needed a first floor I would have to cancel my reservation and start a new one but I reserved with a 3rd party and could not cancel ( defeats the purpose of re doing a reservation when I was told all rooms were booked) make that make sense.anyways have always loved staying here when in oceanside place is great but will not be able to stay at this location any longer
