Beautiful renovated cottage in Mersham Ashford Kent

Perfect location for tunnel. Lovely walking areas for the dogs. Fantastic communication with the owner. Very clean and lovely comfortable bed. Pub 30sec walk away but arrived at 10.30pm so too late to visit (but will do next time!) parking right outside cottage.

Very steep stairs and narrow bathroom.

Great location for Port Lympne Zoo and castle and surrounding areas in Kent, The local pub, good food and friendly host. The kitchen was very nice and a lovely big main bedroom.

The bathroom was very small, not much room to turn around. Stairs are quite steep. Beds in second bedroom are very narrow, only suitable for children.

Très joli village. Maison agréable.

Very clean and has everything you would need. The host offered a lot of helpful advice before our arrival.

The single beds were very small for my teens but might be okay for younger children.

It was very convenient and had what we needed. Beds were comfortable. Owner responded quickly to questions.

It had been renovated but some time ago. In need of some tlc. Bathroom floor and horizontal surfaces need good clean. Bedroom side table in small bedroom is broken. Oven had cleaner in it so unusable (didn’t need it so not a problem). Only got one hot shower but as was hot not too worried but then no hot water in morning. It was an exceptionally hot weekend and a fan in bedroom would have been great. More than one tea towel and a cloth or two would have helped us leave cleaner.

The bathroom is crammed into an unusable space if you are taller than 5ft and weigh more than 7 stone. The single beds are very narrow, not suitable for adults.
