Great position

Bed was comfortable. Bedroom was sufficient once warmed up. Kitchen was adequate.

House was freezing cold on entry, there was a log fireplace but no radiator in the living room. Not sure if fireplace was useable or just decoration. The entry through the back alley was muddy and dark and the entry to the garden has a step that could easily be missed. The car parking on road is on a narrow road near a bend, so difficult to leave in the morning, the free parking lot is basically a muddy area with large potholes and not well lit. The shop nearby did not have the basics, so I needed to drive to get milk, which is usually provided in an entire house letting, although not expected. The renovation means the space upstairs has been decreased to make room for a very narrow shower room and toilet, bedroom 2 has 2 cot width single beds with very little space in between, so unsuitable for 2 full size adults. The stairs are very steep and narrow, it would be easy to have an accident if you mis stepped from the landing outside the main bedroom door going to the toilet during the night. I wanted to love this place as entire houses are ideal for my business travel, unfortunately it did not meet my personal needs.

The cottage is beautiful and finished to a high standard with all the mod cons. Ideal for a weekend stay, my daughter was thrilled to have a room with 2 beds! There is a pub 2 doors down which served great food and the location is a reasonable drive to Ashford or the coast. Ideal as a base for local exploring.

The open fire became a bit of an issue with my asthma but that is a personal thing rather than an actual issue. Just something to be aware of if you have respiratory illness, may be a good idea to list it in the facilities.

Lovely cottage, clean, cosy, with a very well equipped kitchen. Parking was easy to find on the road outside (arrived mid afternoon). The pub just down the road was very friendly with good food. Good place to stay for getting to the channel tunnel, just 15mins drive away.

Absolutely loved it here. Comfortable but luxurious. Great location, pub right next door!!! Excellent stay will be back
