Fantastic hosts and staff. Beautiful gardens and lovely room/suite. We have 2 small and very well behaved dogs - they were made to feel as welcome as we were. The icing in the cake was the stunning food - exceptional and a wonderful end to our holiday. Thank you!!

"Delightful inn with great food"

Comfortable clean room which was quiet and airy. Not large but well equipped - we appreciated the fresh milk, cold water, shortbread and fudge! Nice shower room though sink very small. Fabulous food - delicious dinner (sole with crayfish and pork & apple pie) and treacle tart to die for! Breakfast equally good. Friendly and accommodating hosts.

We loved our 3 night stay in The Gallops (dog friendly room) with its own entrance and patio just off the beer garden. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good size room with small ensuite & walk-in cupboard with storage plus mini fridge. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived – the staff were all so friendly. The food was excellent throughout our stay and location ideal for exploring the area. 5 stars and would fully recommend to others, not just for the great food, but to also as a place to stay. We had a great short break - thank you.
