We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional , I had the bream with tiger prawns and the lobster sauce was absolutely amazing. Our room was perfect, with thoughtful touches and plenty of goodies for both us and our dogs. Everything exceeded our expectations!

There was nothing not to like.

Owners were welcoming and attentive, staff were friendly, polite and professional. Room was lovely and comfortable with nice little touches (tassimo coffee machine as a bonus), evening meal really was exceptional and not overpriced considering it was locally sourced. Breakfast too was delicious! Location was quiet and peaceful. Overall excellent and if we ever revisit the area we will book to stay here! Thank you for all your hard work to make our stay a memorable one!

"Absolutely perfect for us newly weds!"

The Cartwheel inn is very unique, staff were so kind and the rooms were very comfortable. We stayed here on our wedding night and the staff went above and beyond for our stay, decorated the room and wrote a lovely card while in the morning we were warmly greeted by staff congratulating us and had the chef come out too congratulate us also. Food was stunning too. Thank you for our lovely stay, we will come back!

Very friendly welcome. Modern and clean room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

The bathroom was very small and the washbasin was too small to wash in.

"Perfect spot for a night away."

Lovely pub, in a lovely village. We had dinner at the pub, which was delicious, then had a fantastic breakfast the following morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely go back.

The bed was a standard double, so a slightly larger bed would have been a bonus.
