I stayed at *The Novello by Evergreen, Mussoorie* from **17th–18th September**, and my experience was extremely disappointing. First, the **room lock on both the front door and the balcony door was broken and not working**, which was a serious **privacy and safety concern** since the balcony was a shared one. Despite raising this issue multiple times, the staff took more than **3 hours** to change the room, and that too only after repeated requests and calls. Second, we had discussed and confirmed that **breakfast would be complimentary**, but we were still **charged for it**. On top of that, the **Wi-Fi was not working** throughout the stay. The condition of the room was very poor — it even had **bed bugs**. To make matters worse, the **food quality was terrible**. We ordered Maggi, and it shockingly had a **fly in it**. When we tried to escalate the matter to the owner/senior manager Ashish Sharma, he initially assured us of a resolution but then stopped answering our calls. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I have had. Poor service, lack of basic hygiene, safety issues, and false commitments made this a terrible experience. Definitely not recommended.

Loved the room and hospitality of the staff. Would recommend the room with the private balcony. Enjoyed the beautiful view of the sunset sitting there. Food was delicious,Overall, a good experience.

Excellent place to stay. Food is nice. Moreover, everyone associated to this hotel is very welcoming and nice. Hotel situated on the very top of the hill and comes with great view.

Lovely experience. Rooms were clean. Especially the washrooms. The location was very good. Pretty views. Food was good as well. Service was cordial. Mall road budha temples are nearby.

The stay was fabulous with great hospitality from the staff.
