Merci à Lalee et Suba pour leur accueil chaleureux. Ce sont des hôtes d’exceptions. - Le logement est très propre, bonne climatisation. - La possibilité de petit déjeuner et dîner était parfaite surtout que la nourriture était très bonne ! Notre séjour n’aurait pas été le même si nous n’avions pas logé chez eux. A bientôt

The owner was a very friendly person. By the time we reached the location there was a power outage and he was trying very hard to facilitate us. There was a problem with the location data provided in the Booking.com and the owner was kind enough to come and find us. Later we found we should have just follow Google map which clearly show the correct location. We liked the living area that can separated from the bed room. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious Mango. We enjoyed verymuch 🤩

Large room with an additional seating area. Very good AC plus a fan. While the room does not get much natural light, there was very good lighting. The balcony was narrow, but shady and there always was a little wind, which made it very pleasant to sit there. Food was excellent, Suba‘s home cooking was among the best of our trip - and there were even mangoes straight from the garden. Our hosts, Lalee and Suba, were lively. They did everything to ensure that our stay was comfortable; our talks with them were very interesting.

Wifi was unreliable. There was leakage in the bathroom.

Peaceful, rural experience of Mannar. Simple, clean, warm, friendly - and yes, delicious local food. Every corner of Sri Lanka is so different and so special and I'm happy to get a glimpse of Mannar life.

Lalee and Suba were beautiful. They were so welcoming. Suba’s cooking is 5 star. Was wonderful learning about Sri Lanka and Lalee’s family.

Coming from Australia we drink water cold and we have found throughout Sri Lanka that water is drank at room temperature

Excellent communication throughout the booking and while staying at Enoch Guest House where it's location is around 4kms away from Mannar Central Bus Station. My highlight was Suba's cooking skills and the friendliness of the whole family. We had a great stay and experienced many things l was dreaming, since my last visit to Mannar in 1967. Lalee and Suba were great hosts and checking up on everything constantly of our requests. He organised a very friendly and reasonably charged us for our trips to see birds, pier, Adam and Eve's burial ground, Dried fish places and the famous Baobab tree by tuk tuk driver Venkat for us during our stay. Suba made Puri, String Hoppers, Thosai, Creamed Hoppers, Crabs and Prawns for us without any fuss on our request showing her skills. Ceiling fans and air conditioner kept us cool as Mannar got very hot during the day. Would visit again and again.

Sehr Gastfreundliche und zuvorkommende Familie und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Essen gut.

Strand und Umgebung sind extrem zugemüllt.

The family is super friendly. As we were arriving late, they offered us dinner, and the cost of the set menu was fair. The food tasted really good. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. Perfect for a homestay. The location was easy to find. They also arranged a tuk-tuk for us. Provided enough water to support during the heat.
