Enoch Guest House

The room is big with a space apart with a table, sofa, tap and boiler. Big room with AC and very clean. Suba and Lalee were very helpful with us for everything. They arranged us a scooter for rent for 2 days, and helped us to get informations from the bus timetables. Finally, the food prepared by Suba was delicious, and various for a reasonable price.

අපට හොඳ සේවයක් ලබා දුන්නට ගොඩක් ස්තූතියි ඔයාලට.. ලලී සහ ඔහුගේ බිරිඳ හරිම කරැණාවන්තයි.. ඒ වගේම මිත්‍රශීලි යි.. අපි එක්ක කතාබහ කරලා හරියට අපේම පවුලේ අය වගේ අපි එක්ක හිටියා. රසම රස කෑම අපට හදලා දුන්නා. අපි කඩෙන් කනවටත් වඩා රසට අපි ඉල්ලන කෑම අපට හදලා දුන්නා. කවදාවත් අපි කාලා නැති විදියේ කෑමත් අපිට රසට හදලා දුන්නා. අපි හිටිය තැන ඉතාමත් ලස්සනට වගේම ගොඩක් පිරිසිදුවට තිබුනා...මන්නාරම් නගරයට වගේම තලෛයිමන්නාරම්, කීරිමලේ මුහුද, බයෝබැබ් ගස, කුරුලු පාරාදීසය වගේම අනෙක් නැරඹුම් ස්ථාන වලට ඉතාම පහසුවෙන් මෙම ස්ථානයේ සිට යන්න පුළුවන්. නැවත වතාවක් ගොඩාක් ස්තූතිවන්ත වෙනවා ඔයාලා දෙන්න අපට ලබා දුන්න සේවයට... This was the best homestay experience we had in Sri Lanka! Lalee stayed in touch with us even before we arrived in Mannar, which helped us plan our trip smoothly. From the moment we stepped in, we felt at home. Their hospitality comes straight from the heart. Lalee, Subha, and their two children were incredibly kind and welcoming. The owners were very friendly and the food was great. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and were very good value for money.

We had an amazing stay! The couple that runs the place are the friendliest people ever, and they have good recommendations as for what to see in the surroundings. The room is very spacious and clean, and also nice and cool in the night with no mosquitos. Make sure to stay for dinner, and you will not regret it. We had the best food here since staying in Sri Lanka with everything being freshly prepared by the lovely lady. 10/10!

A very spacious bright room with extra sitting room. It is comfortable. The hosts are the most lovely, friendly people. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. Definitely a very good place to stay in Mannar.

I was looking for a calm and quiet place to stay in Mannar and Enoch Guest House was the perfect place. It's a very clean, comfortable room with the balcony view. The trees provided shade and a cool environment. No mosquitoes. Food was prepared well, and was a treat. We had string hoppers for dinner, idli, pancakes, sweet hoppers for breakfast and wonderful rice and curry for lunch. The hosts were kind and friendly and I feel we have made new friends fromt his few days experience. I will surely come back to visit and I recommend the stay.

Laylee and Suba were the loveliest hosts you could wish for. They welcomed us with smiles and never stopped smiling or laughing in our company. They run this completely authentic homestay (the room is the first floor of thier house and is how they earn a living) with warmth and a keen to desire to enure you have a lovely time. The room is spacious with a small seperate seating area with a sink and kettle and coffee table which was nice to relax in.. they provide an iron and ironing board too which was great.. and a mosquito net and free filtered water. There is no air-conditioning but the ceiling fans kept us cool.. The breakfast and dinners were exceptionally good ..we were especially impressed with the grilled fish..was resturant quality and totally delicious.. Laylee organised a lovely tuk tuk tour and also negotiated a great price for our onward transfer.. look no further if you want to have the best Sri Lankan homestay experience .. we were sad to leave..
