Very friendly family, and the property was clean and good, and had enough space for a family of five. The breakfast was good and they were kind enough to make special dishes for us.

What an incredible family. Book in here early to avoid being disappointed as they only have one room at the moment. The family are kind, generous, welcomed us into their home and went above and beyond. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were delicious. We loved chatting with the family after dinner and even woke up to our car being washed.. come visit Mannar and stay at Enoch 😍

I had an amazing time at Suba and Lalee’s place. There are those extremely kind and generous guests that you will remember from your trip in Sri Lanka. I felt warmly welcomed and very safe as a female solo traveler. They are very helpful, you will have some good chats about what it is like in Sri Lanka, amazing diner and breakfast, the room is very clean and new… They also organise tuktuk tours to go to the top of the island for a very decent price. Simply, very clean, super spacious room (upstairs with a big room, good bathroom, extra room with kitchen bench, sink and kettle plus a sofa and table), balcony. Very private up stairs with a good fan in both rooms. Fantastic family, very welcoming and helpful. Great dinner cooked by Suba the lady of the house.

A nice spacious annex above the family home. It has a large bedroom and sitting area with a kettle. The host family were lovely and helpful, they kindly booked me onto a bus to my next location and arranged Tuk Tuks when needed. They also offer a cooked breakfast and/or dinner at a very reasonable price. This was helpful as the accommodation is not close to any restaurants. The location is about an hour walk from town and a drive from other sites. Ideal if you have your own transports, but using the local bus and Tuk Tuks was also easy enough.

The room was really spacious. In addition to the main room you have another room with a couch and a table and a kettle (to prepare tea or coffee). Perfect for a smooth wake up. The family is really kind. We strongly recommend it We stayed 2 nights .

An AC might be a good thing ?

Had a wonderful stay and was well looked after by such sweet family. Place well designed, room had all you could wish for to make it feel like home. Great home cooked food just like my mum’s cooking!
