Enoch Guest House

We were only here a short while but the stay was perfect. A very friendly familiy that run their guesthouse with love and attention. The room was big and comfortable, a place to sit in the front and the a bedroom attached. Dinner cooked by Suba is fabulous so dont miss out on her rice & curry. They arranged a tuktuk for us so that we were on time for the 4:40 train in the morning. If you come to Mannar, look no further and stay here.

Excellent value simple but comfortable place to stay with lovely friendly hosts and amazingly tasty food. The sitting area in the room was an unexpected bonus. Great quiet location from which to go bird watching in the Mannar area. We loved our stay here!

There are a few mosquitoes in the grounds, but our room stayed mosquito free.

Everything about this place is exceptional, the owner is one of the most kind... very helful and always been attentive, The room is big very airy and surprisingly no mosquito, Ive had a really pleasent stay and i suggest this to evetyone

Absolutely fantastic stay at Enoch Guest House! Mr. Lalee and his lovely family were incredible hosts, making us feel so welcome. The property was clean, comfortable with a nice sitting area, and even had an iron and ironing board which was a great bonus. Breakfast was delicious, and they even went above and beyond catering to our dietary needs. We loved the chats after breakfast and were so touched to find our car had been washed! Highly recommend visiting Mannar and staying here. Thank you for everything especially your special ginger tea as we requested!

A lovely home with mango trees and chickens in the front yard. The accommodation upstairs is clean, private, comfortable, and very spacious, with a sitting room, a queen bed and a double bed that can fit two kids or two small adults, an ironing board and iron. But I would come back because of the generosity and hospitality of the hosts, who are a lovely and welcoming family that made us feel like we were at home. They also make really good food and help with any local arrangements.

The Ennoch Guesthouse exceeded all my expectations. I have traveled all over India and it is by far one of the best accommodations for families and backpackers. Kitchenette, iron, attention to detail comforting. family run, very hearty, I spent a wonderful 5 days. On the one hand you enjoy very clean, well-equipped rooms with privacy, while you get excellent help with tours and information about the area. You can enjoy wonderful nature, whether traditional food, village life, Mannar City, or the beach. All in one place. I had wonderful tours put together by the host family for birdwatching, Talaimannar Pier, colonial heritage, Hindu heritage, suspension bridge, donkey farm, deserted beautiful beaches, all at a great price, and I didn't have to worry about anything. The absolute highlight was a beach turtle and the freshest, tastiest grilled fish in a long time. In short, I would love to visit this lovely guesthouse again.

It was a wonderful stay and was well looked after by Lalee and his sweet family. Place well designed, Spacious rooms. Quite and peaceful place surrounded by trees………. had all you could wish to make it comfortable feel like home. Great and Delicious home cooked food! Wow place to stay again!
